Responsibilities
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Administer and process payroll for assigned line of business on a bi-weekly basis.
- Maintain processing task list and documentation according to department standards
- Provide payroll support to all employees across the enterprise. Answer employee questions and concerns via phone or email
- Provide support covering department help desk, support and coverage for other team members when needed. Scan, link and route payroll documentation using ‘Perceptive Content’
- Participate in system testing as required for software/hardware upgrades, implementations, and integrations. Participate in corporate sponsored system training efforts. Continuously monitor daily duties for efficiency
- Process benefit deduction adjustment request, distribute benefit emails to assigned processing team, and review adjustments during biweekly payroll processing
- Distribute Short Term Disability items to the assigned processing team. Items include check request, short term disability Kronos files, and pay adjustments. Process stop payment and reissue request
- Responsible for the accurate and timely input and review of garnishment documents, and withholding orders including responding to court/agency requests
- Maintain garnishment documentation according to department standards
- Responsible for completing wage verification documents
- Report returned or incorrectly issued garnishment checks to team manager for appropriate action. Process garnishment refunds to employees. Responsible for working with the GL group on any GL discrepancies
- Ensure the accuracy of processed garnishment data through thorough review of system generated reports

- Flexibility to work beyond established Mon-Fri schedule as needed. Occasional weekend work may be required
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma required
Experience
- 2+ years of previous multi-state payroll processing experience
Skills
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Demonstrated data entry experience
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Some college level business classes desired
- FPC required (either at hire or within 18 months)
- CPP desired
Skills
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.5 of higher preferred
- Knowledge of Kronos timekeeping system preferred
- Garnishment administration knowledge (desired)
