About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team. In this role, you will oversee both entry-level and lateral associate hiring for an assigned region. Serving as a trusted advisor to firm leadership, Practice Group Chairs (PGCs), and office stakeholders, you will leverage your experience and understanding of the legal and competitive market landscape to strategically plan and execute recruiting goals and objectives, manage key internal and external relationships, oversee end-to-end recruiting processes, and lead, develop, and mentor members of the recruiting team.
This role will be located in our Singapore office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include
•
Overseeing the associate recruiting function for the assigned office or region, including the recruitment of summer associates, fall associates, judicial clerks (as applicable), and lateral associates.

Serving as a trusted advisor to firm leadership and partners by providing market intelligence (including, without limitation, hiring trends, competitor recruiting practices, and compensation), strategic guidance, and tailored recruiting strategies that support firmwide and regional growth objectives.

Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to recruit qualified associate candidates at both the entry and lateral levels, and managing the recruitment process from inception through completion.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with search firms, law schools, and other industry partners to enhance the firm’s brand, competitive position, and recruiting outcomes.

- Demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including organising, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and effective interaction with all organisational levels
- Exhibit proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and applicant tracking systems, with the ability to conduct thorough analyses and reports
- Possess the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion
And have
- Experience in legal recruitment or professional services
- Supervisory experience in a related field, preferably
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent
