Job Description
We’re looking for a Social Art Director who understands how ideas live in culture, not just in layouts. You are someone who can turn insights into scroll-stopping content, create platform-native ideas, and craft work that people actually want to engage with. You think beyond static posts and understand how visual storytelling adapts across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and emerging platforms.
You’ll work closely with Copywriters, Creative Directors, Strategists, Content Creators and Producers to create social campaigns, always-on content and content ecosystems for one of the world’s most beloved entertainment and travel brands.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Develop creative concepts and visual ideas for social-first campaigns and content.
- Translate brand strategies into engaging, platform-native executions.
- Art direct content across multiple formats including static, motion, short-form video, creator content and social activations.
- Collaborate closely with Copywriters and Social Lead to develop integrated creative ideas.
- Create presentation-ready layouts, storyboards and visual mockups.
- Collaborate with designers, motion artists, editors and production partners to ensure creative quality.
- Stay on top of platform trends, creator culture and emerging social behaviours.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas across brands and projects.
- Maintain high standards of craft, consistency and attention to detail.
- Support creative leads in presenting work to internal teams and clients.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience in advertising, social, digital or integrated agencies.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first thinking and visual storytelling.
- Excellent design fundamentals including layout, typography, composition and visual hierarchy.
- Strong understanding of social platforms and content ecosystems.
- Ability to think conceptually, not just execute visually.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of animation and motion graphics, with the ability to create motion mockups, animated content and presentation-ready prototypes.
- Experience developing content across static, motion, video and creator-led formats.
- Experience working with creators, content production or social shoots is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points
- Photography skills, with a strong eye for composition, lighting and storytelling.
- Videography skills, including shooting and editing social-first content.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools and workflows.
- Experience working on lifestyle, entertainment, travel or hospitality brands.
