Clinical Dietitian

Role Overview

Sodexo is excited to invite a Clinical Dietitian to join the dynamic WVU Medicine team! This unique role offers variety and impact, with time split between Jefferson Medical Center in Ranson, WV (three days a week) and Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV (two days a week).

You’ll have order-writing privileges, giving you the autonomy to practice at the top of your license while supporting a wide range of inpatient units across both hospitals. What You'll Do

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Practice at your full scope with order writing privileges
• Perform quality improvement initiatives
• Educate healthcare team member, including physicians and nurses

What You Bring

• Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in WV (or eligible)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
