What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, staff, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access-related and customer assistance activities at a transportation location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, offices, operational areas, parking locations, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed, and document daily activities, observations, and incident details according to post procedures.
- Support security-related operations by observing surroundings, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with emergency response activities when needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
