As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Carlisle, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
- Monitor access points, gates, and/or reception areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor processing, and report unusual activity according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and completing required reports as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
