Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Duty in Coral Gables, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a residential location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community, including entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor information, observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and addressing access concerns in accordance with post orders and community rules.
• Maintain an armed presence in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, handling assigned equipment responsibly and following all applicable use, reporting, and escalation procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
