Overview

Program Analyst (EDOS-2026-25585)

Bowhead is seeking department-level operational support with the ability to administer and optimize SharePoint environments to support strategic initiatives, including custom site development, file repository structures, collaboration spaces, and Power Automate workflow development. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to consolidate, analyze, and visualize critical performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making for leadership and manage end-to-end event logistics, operational scheduling, and milestone planning in support of senior technical staff to include calendar scheduling, VIP visitor arrangements, travel arrangements, greeting visitors, fielding calls/inquires, timekeeping, and document preparation.

The Program Analyst will orchestrate cross-organization data call processes and compile results and facilitate key executive and leadership initiatives, coordinating logistics, agendas, and executive briefing materials for strategic planning sessions and department-wide all-hands events. The Program Analyst must be able to author and format technical documentation, briefings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, and must be able to maintain a Secret clearance.

This position is full-time, 100% on-site in Dahlgren, VA.

Responsibilities

The Program Analyst will coordinate Government inputs, generate and deliver program documentation as well as faciltate / attend meetings to take minutes and gather data. Updating documentation real-time during the meetings as well. They will track meeting action items and maintain records reflecting both open and closed action items.

  • Administer and optimize department-level SharePoint environments to support strategic initiatives, including custom site development, file repository structures, collaboration spaces, and Power Automate workflow development.
  • Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to consolidate, analyze, and visualize critical department-level performance metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making for leadership.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, operational scheduling, and milestone planning in support of senior technical staff to include calendar scheduling, VIP visitor arrangements, travel arrangements, greeting visitors, fielding calls/inquires, timekeeping, and document preparation.
  • Orchestrate cross-organization data call processes and compile results.
  • Facilitate key executive and leadership initiatives, coordinating logistics, agendas, and executive briefing materials for strategic planning sessions and department-wide all-hands events.
  • Author and format technical documentation, briefings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Qualified experience in the drafting and review of all of project technical documentation, to include, the reviewing for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
  • Ability to coordinate document input/updates from multiple organizations. Example: Currently up to 12 individuals contributing to monthly report document.
  • Ability to clearly communicate.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or greater
  • Two (2+) plus years of professional experience with a DOD program.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, configuring, and maintaining SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, dashboard development, report creation, and data visualization.
  • Experience integrating SharePoint data with Power BI to develop automated reporting and business intelligence solutions.
  • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
