Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat orthopedic patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Assist in orthopedic surgeries including joint replacement, fracture care, and sports procedures
  • Perform pre-op and post-op assessments
  • Order/interprete imaging and labs
  • Provide patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, therapists, nursing, and ancillary teams

Qualifications

  • Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active or eligible for Maine PA/NP license
  • Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
  • New graduates with strong orthopedic rotations considered
  • Strong communication and team-based care mindset
