Job description

Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is recruiting for an Oilfield Pumper in Snook, Texas with 4-7 years expereince. Pumper will be required to work on an 8/6 schedule within a Wood Client company field. A Pumper will assure that wellheads located in fields across a wide area are properly maintained and working efficiently. Pumpers log data, check and test gauges and perform minor repairs. *Candidates must live within a 50 mile radius.*

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood is required

Equipment and Lift to be monitored and maintained

  • Rod pump wells
  • GAPL (Gas Assisted Plunger Lift)
  • Flowing gas wells
  • Dehy’s
  • Glycol Pumps
  • Transfer Pumps
  • Vapor Recovery units
  • Combustors
  • Batteries and Satellites (Lact sales and Gas Sales)
  • Transfer pumps
  • Circulating and treating production fluids
  • Dump valve maintenance and replacement
  • Chemical pumps

Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years oilfield experience
  • Working knowledge of mechanical applications
  • PEC Safeland Certification
  • H2S Training
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently under little supervision
  • Basic math skills
  • Responsible and diligent
  • Safety-conscious
  • Personal computer experience or willingness to learn
  • Previous oilfield experience
  • No supervisory responsibilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screening
  • Ability to satisfy Department of Justice requirements with or without assistance
