An opportunity has arisen for a Practitioner Psychologist to become a part of our multidisciplinary team, delivering comprehensive assessment, formulation and recovery focussed interventions to the people who access our services.

Under the supervision of a senior registered Psychologist, you will be part of our national Psychology Team with multiple opportunities for reflective practice, peer support, research, and CPD.

Having qualified you will be supported to complete our preceptorship programme over a maximum period of two years and upon successful completion there will be an opportunity for you to progress within your role, with an ongoing Highly Qualified Practitioner Psychologist opportunity.

You will ensure that people who access our services receive high quality care that adheres to best practice and evidence-based guidelines, improving the psychological well-being of people in our care.

Where: Sefton

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary : Scale points 40-46 – £45,583.51 - £52,379.50 (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)

Contract: Fixed term for 12 monrhs

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

We welcome applications from both Newly Qualified Practitioner Psychologists and those who are coming to the end of their training, in addition to more experienced Psychologists looking for roles within the sector.

Responsibilities

This role provides an exciting progression opportunity for a newly or recently Qualified HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist. It will enable you to further develop your skills, taking supported first steps as a qualified Practitioner Psychologist, and with ongoing opportunities for professional development.

If you are successful and have not yet received your HCPC registration you will be offered a fixed-term contract as a Trainee Practitioner Psychologist for 6 months whilst you wait for your registration. An amended job description will be issued to you and the salary whilst in this role will be £41,970.40 per annum. Once you have received your registration, you will transition into the Practitioner Psychologist role.
