For one of our Dutch clients we are looking for a Lead Technician Energy & Industry, with the prospect of a permanent contract. The company designs, builds and maintains (complex) installations that are essential for a sustainable and reliable future. You will work in a team but also independently and train less experienced colleagues on the job. Experience in an industrial or energy networks environment as an electrician for a number of years is therefore a requirement.

For one of our Dutch clients we are looking for a Lead Technician Energy & Industry, with the prospect of a permanent contract. The company designs, builds and maintains (complex) installations that are essential for a sustainable and reliable future. In this role, you work across the full region of Amsterdam (Provence Utrecht, Flevoland and Noord-Holland) for industrial- and energy clients, carrying out installation, replacement, cable works, maintenance, inspections, and switching operations. You work with teams at various locations, ensuring safe, structured, and high-quality execution in line with NEN3140, VIAG/BEI and VCA safety procedures. You communicate professionally with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients. Growing toward high-voltage specializations or office-based positions is possible.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform installation, replacement, and maintenance work on LV, MV and HV installations
- Execute cable works (including joints, connections, and splicing) for LV, MV and HV
- Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of switchgear installations
- Handle fault repairs and planned/unplanned maintenance activities
- Work in accordance with NEN3140, VIAG, BEI, and permit-to-work procedures
- Collaborate with project leaders, planners, and colleagues on safe execution
- Document activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
- Coach and train colleagues
