Overview

Warehouse & Distribution Lead (Carregado)

This role is responsible for ensuring that Finished Goods and Raw Materials are received, handled, stored, and distributed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. The position plays a key role in safeguarding warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvement across logistics processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and accurate receipt, storage, handling, and distribution of Finished Goods and Raw Materials
  • Protect warehouse assets by implementing effective loss prevention and control measures
  • Monitor and evaluate inventory levels, ensuring data accuracy and proper stock management
  • Prepare, review, and validate distribution and logistics documentation
  • Maintain and ensure the sustainability of internal controls under COSO methodology, acting as key control owner (I2C KC2, I2C KC9)
  • Supervise daily warehouse and distribution operations, prioritizing workload and ensuring operational excellence

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team, ensuring high performance and engagement
  • Assign tasks and supervise execution to meet operational goals
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development plans
  • Deliver training initiatives and ensure capability building within the team
  • Manage disciplinary and corrective actions when required
  • Participate in recruitment processes, including hiring and termination recommendations

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Develop and implement new policies, procedures, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with GEHSMS requirements, fostering a strong Health & Safety culture
  • Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact
  • Collaborate with the Site Logistics Leader, H&S department, and Snack Distribution Manager to define and execute action plans to improve GEHSMS audit scores
  • Conduct structured and data-driven operational reviews to identify improvement opportunities

Qualifications

  • Degree in Management, Engineering, or related field (Logistics specialization is a plus)
  • 3–6 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
  • Solid computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to follow structured processes and ensure compliance with standards
