Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Driving Patrol in Lancaster, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a positive experience through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, dock spaces, trailer lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery traffic, verify credentials when required, and report security-related issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by remaining alert to suspicious behavior, damaged barriers or gates, unsecured areas, and/or other conditions that could affect the location.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
