As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Support in Sugar Land, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help support a secure environment through a visible presence and strong communication. This is a driving post. You will also deliver exceptional customer service while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report hazards, equipment issues, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to support site access control procedures for employees, vendors, and delivery personnel.
- Communicate with site contacts, control rooms, and/or local responders when needed, and assist with evacuations, restricted area enforcement, and other security-related duties based on location requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
