Overview

HOURLY RATE: $18-$18.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Janitor will maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse, grounds, offices, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions Statements

• Performs janitorial services including but not limited to: cleaning floors, windows, picking up and disposing of trash, dusting furniture, cleaning and stocking bathroom, vacuuming offices, sweeping various areas, and cleaning carpets when needed.
• Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Understands the use of Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Polietly answers customer questions.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Follow procedures for the use of cleaners and equipment, in order to maintain safety in the warehouse.
• Notify manager concerning the need for repairs or additions to the warehouse.
• On weekly basis notifies management of additional supplies or equipment that are needed for cleaning and mainteance duties.
• Sweeps and pick up trash from the parking lot and perimeter of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year of related experience in cleaning. Experience in working in a warehouse preferred.
