Job description

Claiborne Senior Living is seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Director of Operations (RDO) to support and oversee a portfolio of senior living communities across the Mid-South and Eastern United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and occupancy growth across multiple communities.

What You'll Do

  • Provide operational oversight and direction to assigned communities
  • Support and mentor Executive Directors and leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirements
  • Drive financial performance through labor management, expense control, and revenue optimization
  • Review financial statements regularly and implement corrective action plans as needed
  • Support occupancy growth through marketing oversight and collaboration with Community Relations teams
  • Monitor resident satisfaction and address concerns with professionalism and urgency
  • Conduct regular community site visits to ensure presentation, safety, and operational standards
  • Assist in budget development and annual objective planning
  • Partner with HR and Business Office teams on employment practices and staff performance matters
  • Support pre-opening activities for new developments, including staffing, inspections, and operational readiness

What We're Looking For

  • Proven multi-site assisted living or senior living leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing labor and controllable expenses
  • Demonstrated success driving occupancy and operational improvements
  • Deep understanding of regulatory compliance in senior living
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
