Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Irvine, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Residential Patrol Officer, where you will monitor and patrol apartment communities, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting matters through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and community amenities, helping to support property rules and visitor procedures while maintaining a professional presence.
• Assist with routine security-related checks of doors, gates, lighting, and shared spaces, and communicate maintenance and/or security-related concerns to site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
