About the position

We are looking for a meticulous and versatile Localization Specialist (French) to help us deliver a native, seamless experience to our Francophone audience. You won’t just be translating words; you will be adapting our marketing materials, product interface, and client communications to drive engagement and global growth. What you'll do

As our French Localization Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end translation process for various company assets. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

• Content Localization: Translating and adapting a wide range of materials, including landing pages, resource pages, learn guides, help center articles, and text within visual elements.
• App Translation: Localizing application interfaces to ensure a flawless user experience for French-speaking users.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting peer reviews of teammates' translations to maintain high linguistic standards and brand consistency.
• Web & CMS Management: Handling basic HTML formatting to prep content for marketing websites and publishing finished translations directly into WordPress (training provided).
• SEO Optimization: Performing basic keyword research in French to ensure our translated content ranks well and reaches the right audience.
• Content Maintenance: Regularly auditing and updating dated translations to keep our messaging current and accurate.
• Live Translation Support: Providing occasional consecutive translation during Sales demos and other key client meetings, as needed.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Actively participating in relevant meetings, cooperating closely with other teams, and advising with your manager on task prioritization and localization strategies.

Must-haves

• Native-level fluency in French and professional, working proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Residency and citizenship in the Philippines.
• Proven experience in translation, localization, or a similar linguistic role.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing content and the ability to adapt tone and style for different formats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior experience working in the SaaS, tech, or digital marketing industry.
• Basic familiarity with HTML and experience working in WordPress.
• Fundamental knowledge of SEO principles and how to conduct basic keyword research in French.
• Experience in UI/UX localization for software or mobile applications.
• Previous experience providing live interpretation or supporting Sales/Customer Success teams in client-facing scenarios.
