Job description

As the Marketing Executive – Brand and Content , you will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing compelling content across the group’s websites and social media channels. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the digital footprint, brand awareness, and lead generation for Alberta Group.

This position requires a highly motivated, creative, and data-driven professional who can adapt seamlessly across various industries and verticals. You will be expected to balance high-level creative execution with rigorous project management and analytical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Communication

  • Creative Content: Develop high-quality visual (video, reels) and written (blogs, articles, website copy) content tailored to key stakeholders and target audiences.
  • Brand Collateral: Produce marketing materials, presentations, brochures, and corporate documents in strict adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Digital Growth: Execute strategies to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email marketing.
  • Lead Generation: Facilitate top-of-funnel growth by generating and nurturing leads across all digital channels.
  • Internal Communications: Keep teams informed and engaged through newsletters, internal branding videos, and event materials.
  • Public Relations: Manage media requests, external information output, and internal communications from senior leadership.
  • Employer Branding: Support recruitment campaigns to position the group as an employer of choice.
  • Strategic Execution: Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies.
  • Vendor Liaison: Manage external service providers to ensure all printed materials align with brand standards.

Social Media Marketing & Analytics

  • Reporting: Provide monthly analytics for Google and social media platforms.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on ROI for all marketing campaigns.
  • Optimization: Leverage AI tools to deliver faster, more effective campaigns.
  • Algorithm Management: Stay current with the latest trends and updates for Meta and Google algorithms to improve search rankings and social engagement.

Events & Brand Activation

  • Event Management: Organize and execute initiatives, photo shoots, and digital/physical events across the group.
  • Stakeholder Advocacy: Pitch and champion creative concepts to internal stakeholders, ensuring buy-in for new initiatives.
  • Support: Assist the wider marketing department with ad-hoc projects and strategic tasks.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 2–3 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
  • Technical Proficiency:
  • Design: Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Platforms: WordPress, common web platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Analytics: Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics, keyword research tools, and data optimization.
  • Video Production: Proficiency in professional videography (camera operation, lighting, and sound) and video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
  • Writing & Communication: Exceptional written, proofreading, and communication skills in English.
  • Dual-Mindset: A unique ability to combine high-level creativity with a process-driven, data-focused approach.
