Sales Engineer
Job description
Job Summary: Our client is seeking a technically skilled and results-driven Sales Engineer to promote and sell DENAIR industrial air and gas solutions across Tanzania’s Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, and other industrial sectors. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, conducting technical assessments, preparing proposals and tenders, and supporting after-sales service activities. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with commercial acumen to drive revenue growth and build long-term client relationships. Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities in mining, oil & gas, manufacturing, and related industries. Promote and sell DENAIR products including compressors, gas generators, dryers, and accessories. Conduct site visits to assess compressed air and gas system requirements. Perform air demand calculations (CFM, m³/min, pressure, purity levels). Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, and tender submissions. Interpret BOQs, P&ID diagrams, technical drawings, and specifications. Negotiate contracts and follow up on submitted quotations. Coordinate with manufacturers for pricing, lead times, and technical clarifications. Support installation, commissioning, and after-sales service activities. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets.
