Part- Time Nurse, Primary School (EX)(2026-2027)-Our Lady of Perpetual Help School, Ellicott City MD

Our Lady of Perpetual Help School in Ellicott City, Maryland , is seeking a compassionate and qualified Part‑Time Registered School Nurse to serve on campus one day per week , with additional opportunities to substitute as needed throughout the school year. The ideal candidate is dedicated to supporting student health, safety, and well‑being in a warm, faith‑centered school community.

The Part‑Time School Nurse provides direct care to students, manages daily health needs, and maintains accurate health records. This role supports a safe school environment by responding to illnesses and injuries, administering medications, and collaborating with staff and families regarding student health plans. This position will work 8 hours per week. Substitute opportunities may be offered on additional days when coverage is needed.

Essential Functions

• Provide first aid, medical care, and emergency care services to students, faculty, and staff.
• Administer medications and treatments to students as ordered by students' physicians.
• Assist in the collection and management of health forms.
• Create and maintain documentation of all encounters, assessments, and interventions.
• Serve as liaison between students, teachers and families in regards to health concerns.

Position Qualifications

• Current Maryland RN license - BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Nursing experience in a high school setting.
• Current Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to quickly and competently assess medical situations and escalate as needed.

Pay Range: $26.00 - $30.00, Hourly
