Commis Chef
Job description
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Part Time Commis Chef (24 hours per week) to join our busy kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their culinary journey or looking to grow their skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with senior chefs to deliver high-quality dishes and maintain the highest standards of food preparation.
What You Will Do
- Assist in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to company standards
- Follow recipes and specifications to ensure consistency
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
- Support with stock rotation, deliveries, and daily kitchen checks
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and allergen standards at all times
What We Are Looking For
- Passion for food and a desire to learn
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but not essential
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow direction
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
