Job Details
Responsibilities
- Ensures timely, secure, and accurate delivery of mail and packages across all hospital units and departments
- Supports frontline healthcare staff through reliable logistics and excellent customer service
- Organizes incoming mail, memos, and packages by department, unit or floor
- Navigates designated hospital routes to deliver mail directly to nursing units, offices, and clinics
- Gathers outgoing and interoffice mail from units during scheduled rounds
- Logs high-priority, overnight, or confidential deliveries requiring signatures
- Picks up and delivers medical records as needed
- Pick up specimens from units to bring to Lab as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in a hospital, mailroom, or courier environment is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn and navigate a large, complex hospital layout
- Strong organizational skills to maintain strict delivery schedules
- Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours, push mail carts, and lift packages weighing up to 30–50 lbs
Salary Range
USD $24.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.
