What You'll Do We’re looking for a National Recruiting Director to join our Principal Financial Network Management team! In this role you'll lead efforts to identify and attract qualified, high performing candidates within the financial services industry to join Principal Financial Network as a Financial Professional. This role will identify and vet the very best candidates with the shortest learning curves and time to revenue possible. You'll Also Have The Opportunity To: Develop recruiting strategy, then plan and execute on recruiting goals. Source and develop prospective financial representatives. Proactively target top performing, passive candidates within our industry. Direct the sourcing of candidates through referrals, networking, social media, and through knowledge of effective search methods. Network with current employees, acquaintances, and industry professionals to build a pipeline. Develop leads and build relationships with prospective financial representatives, maintaining continued, on-going contact with prospective representatives. Provide consultation and education to prospective financial representatives on platform options and partnering with field leadership and the advisor recruitment team to evaluate platform options. Experience with Direct Financial Professional Recruiting, hiring strategies and applicable labor law. Familiarity with prescribed key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial representatives. Excellent decision-making and organizational skills toward developing successful hiring strategies. Exceptional interpersonal skill and strong recruitment-related intuition. Excellent communication skills to interact with candidates and internal teams. Excellent communication and persuasion abilities (particularly when making cold calls and sending recruiting emails) Familiar with online and offline sourcing techniques. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $104400 - $187200 / year Salary Details The following locations are examples of market-specific salary ranges across different geographies. Grand Island, NE: $104,400 - $140,400 / year Des Moines, IA: $110,200 - $148,200 / year Charlotte, NC: $116,000 - $156,000 / year Chicago/Minneapolis: $127,600 - $171,600 / year Los Angeles/New York City: $139,200 - $187,200 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible Yes Work Environments This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA.) .You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
