Community Engagement Manager - 5th Avenue
Job description
Overview Position The Community Engagement Manager is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and converting new High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients for Moncler's Fifth Avenue flagship through strategic networking, community engagement, and partnership development. Serving as a key ambassador for the brand, this individual will build relationships with influential individuals, key opinion leaders, entrepreneurs, luxury service providers, cultural institutions, and business organizations to create opportunities that drive client acquisition, brand visibility, and sales growth. The Manager will develop and execute local strategies to expand Moncler's presence within New York's luxury ecosystem, leveraging partnerships, exclusive experiences, and community engagement to introduce new clients to the brand. Working closely with Store Leadership, Client Relations & Development, and regional partners, this role will focus on generating qualified client opportunities, increasing traffic to the 5th Avenue flagship, and supporting long-term client development efforts. Success in this role will be measured through new client acquisition, partnership-driven business generation, traffic and sales contribution, event performance, and overall impact on the 5th Avenue flagship's commercial objectives. This position requires exceptional relationship-building skills, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to transform networks and opportunities into meaningful business results. Your Impact Client Acquisition Identify, recruit, and develop relationships with Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) and High Net Worth (HNW) clients. Create strategies to attract new local and international clientele to the Fifth Avenue flagship. Partner with store leadership, managers, ambassadors, and client advisors to convert prospects into long-term clients. Build a pipeline of influential partnerships, individuals, entrepreneurs, collectors, executives, and cultural leaders to convert into new clients. Generate measurable sales opportunities through networking, partnership development, referrals, and community engagement initiatives. Partner with Client Relations & Development to ensure newly acquired clients are successfully onboarded, engaged, and retained through personalized clienteling strategies. Track and report on client acquisition, prospect activity, and business generation metrics. Brand Partnerships and Business Development Develop strategic partnerships with corporations, luxury hotels, private clubs, concierge networks, luxury residential communities, wealth management firms, and cultural institutions to drive client acquisition and business growth. Create exclusive experiences and activations that drive client acquisition. Represent Moncler within key New York luxury, cultural, and business communities. Identify opportunities to generate incremental traffic, sales, and brand visibility. Create bespoke programs and experiences for top clients and VIP communities. Community & Networking Serve as a Moncler ambassador at key social, cultural, fashion, art, philanthropic, and luxury events. Maintain a robust network of influencers, key opinion leaders, tastemakers, media contacts, and industry leaders. Expand Moncler's presence among New York's most influential circles. Stay informed on market trends, community developments, and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities. Event Strategy In partnership with Client Relations & Development, develop intimate events, private shopping experiences, and client engagement programs. Partner with regional and global Client Development and Brand teams to maximize local relevance and impact. Support the execution of events and activations designed to drive client acquisition, engagement, and sales. Performance & Reporting Establish and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, strategic partners, and community relationships. Track client acquisition activity, referral sources, partnership effectiveness, and business generation results. Provide regular reporting and recommendations to Store Leadership regarding opportunities, trends, and performance outcomes. Professional Conduct & Teamwork Lead by example and consistently model Moncler's values, behaviors, and commitment to excellence. Foster strong partnerships across Retail, Client Relations, Brand, and Corporate teams to achieve shared business objectives. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Work Experience 5+ years of experience in luxury retail, business development, client acquisition, partnerships, hospitality, wealth management, luxury real estate, or a related field. Proven success developing relationships with High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients. Experience generating business through networking, partnerships, community engagement, and relationship management. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic partnerships that contribute to revenue growth and client acquisition. Strong knowledge of the New York luxury, cultural, hospitality, and business landscape preferred. Compensation and Benefits For positions based in New York, Moncler provides a good faith estimate of the salary range for the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including business needs, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, and certifications. The current estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 annually. In addition to competitive pay, the hired candidate will also be eligible for quarterly bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, paid parental leave, 7 paid holidays, accrue up to 80 hours of paid vacation time, 4 personal days, 2 community service days, employee discounts, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
