Overview Gallagher is seeking a driven and results-oriented Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Consultant to join our team. This role is focused on developing new business opportunities while delivering high-quality risk management consulting and client service. The ideal candidate brings a blend of sales acumen, client relationship management, and technical expertise within risk and insurance solutions. You will play a critical role in expanding Gallagher’s footprint among small to mid-sized, high-revenue organizations while maintaining and growing existing client relationships. How you'll make an impact Business Development & Revenue Growth Develop and close new business opportunities with a focus on small to mid-sized, high-revenue organizations Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within existing accounts Partner with producers and internal teams in complex, team-based sales situations Build and execute an individual business plan and annual production goals Client Relationship Management Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their risk landscape and business objectives Maintain and grow client relationships through proactive service and strategic engagement Oversee client transitions and account transfer situations, ensuring continuity and satisfaction Collaborate with account management teams who support day-to-day servicing needs Consulting & Technical Expertise Deliver ERM consulting services and solutions aligned with client needs Apply industry tools, analytics, and technologies to enhance risk strategies and outcomes Provide guidance on risk mitigation, insurance program optimization, and enterprise risk frameworks Team Collaboration & Leadership Work closely with internal teams across divisions to drive coordinated client solutions Assist in mentoring and developing junior staff in both sales and client service best practices Foster strong intercompany and interdivision relationships aligned with Gallagher’s collaborative culture About You Required One of the following: Bachelor’s degree + 1+ year of relevant experience Bachelor’s degree + completion of Gallagher Sales Internship Program (GSIP) High School Diploma/GED + 6+ years of relevant experience Appropriate insurance licensing (or ability to obtain) Preferred Professional designations such as: CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) ARM (Associate in Risk Management) Key Competencies Ability to operate independently with minimal direction Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers Strategic thinking with a client-first mindset Results-driven with strong sales and negotiation capabilities #LI-MS1 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
