Automation Designer / Developer (Microsoft Power)

The Center of Digitalization (HR) at DHL is responsible for digitizing, automating, and continuously improving HR processes and HR Shared Service Center operations across the organization. This role is designed for experienced professionals with 2–5 years of relevant Microsoft Power automation experience, ranging from strong mid-level contributors to senior specialists.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop applications & automation solutions using mainly the Microsoft Power Platform for HR and HR Shared Service Center processes
  • Analyze HR business processes and translate them into functional and technical workflow designs
  • Implement workflow solutions using State of the Art Cloud BPMN Platforms like Pega
  • Collaborate closely with HR process owners, HR Shared Service Center teams, IT and integration teams
  • Support testing, deployment, and stabilization of HR workflow solutions
  • Monitor and troubleshoot automation solutions to ensure optimal performance and address any issues promptly
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, security, audit, and HR governance standards
  • Contribute to automation standards, templates, and best practices within HR digitalization
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies and recommend improvements

Qualifications & Key Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Microsoft Power automation (mainly Power Apps & Power Automate ), BPMN or process digitalization
  • Strong expertise in User Interface & User Experience design principles, with the ability to create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences
  • Solid understanding of business process management principles (e.g. BPMN, orchestration, case management)
  • Ability to translate HR business requirements into technical workflow solutions
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment along with different countries and cultures.
  • Experience or strong interest in HR processes or HR Shared Service Center operations (e.g. employee lifecycle, onboarding/offboarding, master data, approvals, requests)
  • Experience working in enterprise or shared service environments
  • Strong structured, analytical, and quality-focused working style
  • Fluent English is mandatory with German being a plus
