JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Faribault, MN Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Sep 14, 2026 – Dec 14, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Thu, 8 or 10 hour days (Friday for emergent cases only) On-Call Shift Schedule: Weeknights (3:30p – 7a) and Weekends (7a – 7a), rotated Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time: 30 minutes PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults and Pediatrics Case Mix: General, OB, ENT, Pediatrics FACILITY INFORMATION Specialty Backup Available: MDs available for backup/assistance REQUIRED PROCEDURES VBAC/TOLAC Tap Blocks Epidurals Spinal Blocks Peripheral Nerve Blocks General Anesthesia OB Anesthesia Pediatric Anesthesia ENT procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Minnesota license Experience: Minimum 3 years of CRNA experience Other Qualifications: Comfortable with unsupervised practice model; strong OB background with VBAC/TOLAC experience; proficiency in pediatric and ENT anesthesia DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Float between Owatonna and Faribault facilities (20 minutes apart) Provide anesthesia care for general surgical and obstetric cases, including VBAC/TOLAC Perform epidurals, TAP blocks, spinal and peripheral nerve blocks Participate in rotated call, covering weeknight and weekend beeper call with 30‑minute response time Work independently in an unsupervised care model at Faribault and collaboratively with MDs at Owatonna
