JOB OVERVIEW Profession: CRNA Specialty: CRNA Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: West Reading, PA Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 24, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 5x8s or 4x10s 3-4 weeks/month Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Other Info: Medical Supervision Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered by Agency PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All ages (limited pediatrics) Case Mix: General, Ortho, Neurosurgery, Thoracic (except open heart), Vascular, Pain mgmt, Healthy pediatrics No OB, No open heart (but will do mitral valves and watchmen) FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Trauma Level: I Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesiologist supervision available Support Staff: Anesthesia Techs, SCAs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: No Temporary Privileges Available: No JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: PA or IMLC Full-time availability (3-4 weeks/month) Duties & Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures in a high-volume OR setting Supervise and collaborate with anesthesiologists and anesthesia techs Perform pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia care plans Monitor patients during surgery, managing acute volume/BP issues and ventilation Execute regional and neuraxial blocks, including ultrasound/x-ray guided procedures
