Job description

PURPOSE OF THIS PROGRAMME

The Graduate will be provided with relevant work experience in a corporate environment within the Risk Management Unit. This will entail risk assessment of projects and corporate finance transactions to the Project Exco, assessment of investment portfolio risks, as well as perform tasks within the Risk Management Unit for purposes of Enterprise Wide Risk Management, as agreed with the Head of Risk.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & INTERFACES

  • Perform credit rating for corporate finance clients using the ECRM model
  • Analyse historical financial information and perform credit rating for existing insurance exposure
  • Help the Risk unit staff with data collection and analysis
  • Performa data analytics of various underwriting and investment portfolio data to provide meaningful analysis
  • Collate and consolidate risk and control self assessment (RCSA) responses into a summary for review by the risk unit staff
  • Organise and schedule RCSA and other training sessions by the Risk Unit
  • Undertake research in designated areas such as commodities, country, sector and obligor as requested by risk unit staff
  • Collect and collate information for various reports from the division
  • Liaise with Risk Champions across the Corporation to collate and assess and report risk incidents
  • Perform any other tasks requested by risk staff intended to train and / or improve the graduate trainee’s performance and knowledge
