Overview
NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Hiring Specialist Manager to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham AL.

Under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, the Hiring Specialist Manager is responsible for performing clerical, administrative, and operational duties that support an exceptional candidate onboarding experience and the overall success of the Talent Acquisition team. This role focuses on expediting the hiring process by partnering with remote facilities to guide candidates successfully through the pre-employment clearance process and into employment with NaphCare. In addition, the Hiring Specialist Manger serves as a subject matter expert on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and onboarding processes, providing training, coaching, and ongoing support to Hiring Specialists. The position also assists with coordinating workflow, monitoring onboarding performance metrics, identifying process improvement opportunities, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and serving as a resource to team members and site leadership to promote consistency, efficiency, and high-quality hiring practices.
Responsibilities
- Recruits, interviews, and selects talent for the team.
- Monitors productivity and performance metrics.
- Addresses performance concerns in a timely manner.
- Oversees quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Conducts performance reviews.
- Plans and prioritizes team workload.
- Once offer is accepted by a candidate begin the collection of new hire documents.
- Communicate with the new hire via texting, email, and phone.
- Collect and upload copy of signed offer letter
- Enter the Staff Profile Form
- Enters any additional requests (if applicable)
- IT Requests (Software and Equipment Needs, Network Access, Remote Access)
- HR Requests (HRS Access, Budget Access)
- TA Requests (ICIMS Access)
- Assist with the verification of medical licenses and credentials.
- Order and manage drug screening and background check process
- Manage flow of new hire documents through applicant tracking system.
- Upload documents into ATS as they are received.
- Assist the facility in onboarding new hires
- Work with site to coordinate Start Date
- 1st Day Instructions
- Orientation and Training
- Assist marketing team with social media and other recruiting efforts
- Process new employee relocation reimbursements
- Provide sourcing support to the recruiting team, when needed
- Be knowledgeable and be able to explain company benefits, policies and parameters positions.
- Maintains contact with candidates throughout the hiring process up until their start date.
- Notify and provide updates to the TA Team and Hiring Managers regularly.,
- Immediately notifies the TA Team and Hiring Manager of any issues or delays during the onboarding process.
- Trains and assists Hiring Specialists on the Applicant Tracking System and Onboarding process.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED certificate with one (1) year clerical experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Minimum two (2) years college preferred.
- Must have computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel with a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
- Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills, good judgment and be able to manage stressful situations.
- Must have the physical and mental capacity to perform in a fast paced and challenging environment.
