Job description

Overview

Rapiscan Systems is an industry leader in detection technology, providing cargo and vehicle inspection systems and services for ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud. We offer a broad array of scanning system configurations that leverage low-, medium-, and high-energy X-ray technology—or multiple X-ray technologies—to address each customer’s unique security application requirements.

Role Overview

Material Handler will provide the supply chain with an accurate and methodical approach, to booking in/out stock and maintaining transactional accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Associated paperwork and systems transactions
  • Scanning and packing of product to orders
  • Participate in inventory reconciliation processes as required
  • Data input onto warehouse management systems
  • Liaison with our Customer and their end user to resolve any issues that may arise
  • Ensure accurate assessment is made on each return and is appropriately recorded
  • General administrative duties as required in the role

  • Transactional accuracy / timeliness

Qualifications

  • FLT Licience (Desireable but not essential, training can be provided).
  • Counter Balance (Desireable but training can be provided)
  • Scissor Lift (Desireable but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience of working in a demanding and fast paced stores environment is essential.
