Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work closely with IBP, Customer Service, Logistics and Operations team to support the definition and management production planning elements of Plan for Every Part (PFEP).
  • Own the review and updating of production planning parameters in JDEdwards (ERP/MRP).
  • Create production schedules that balance customer demand, Complete and On Time (COT) targets, inventory management and shop floor optimization, within agreed upon finite capacity models.
  • Create and Manage work orders within the JDEwards environment.
  • Support the IBP team and Ultralox Finance to understand and set production targets by product family to support the organization's sales and service targets.
  • Work closely with Plant Production and Engineering leadership and their teams to identify capacity requirements and other resource needs to meet production targets by family.
  • Coordinate 'clear to build' reviews of upcoming production schedules to confirm component availability. Proactively communicate potential gaps to customer service and purchasing.
  • Coordinate directly with logistics functions when appropriate to facilitate expedited shipments.
  • Own schedule attainment metrics and support the operations team in productivity and efficiency metrics.
  • Actively support Ultralox 'Zero Harm' policy and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree.

Experience: 3 plus years of production planning management in a manufacturing environment

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office with heavy emphasis on Excel. JD Edwards ERP or other similar system

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Collaborative working style

Certifications & Licenses: APICS desirable but not required
