About the role
We’re looking for an experienced technical recruiting leader to build and scale our engineering organization during one of the most exciting periods of growth in crypto. You’ll partner closely with engineering leadership to define hiring strategy, attract exceptional technical talent, and continuously raise the hiring bar across the company. This role is highly strategic while remaining hands-on, owning searches for some of our most critical engineering hires. As the recruiting function grows, there is an opportunity to mentor recruiters and help shape the long-term talent strategy for the company.

- Develop scalable recruiting processes that improve speed, quality, and candidate experience.

Responsibilities
- Own full-cycle recruiting for senior engineering and technical leadership roles.
- Partner with engineering leaders to develop hiring strategies, workforce planning, and interview processes.
- Build strong pipelines of passive technical talent through creative sourcing and networking.
- Coach hiring managers on interviewing, calibration, and candidate evaluation.
- Drive operational excellence across recruiting metrics, reporting, and forecasting.
- Improve recruiting processes through thoughtful use of AI, automation, and recruiting technology.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience from first outreach through closing.
- Mentor recruiters and sourcers while helping establish recruiting best practices across the organization.
- Continuously refine Ondo’s employer brand within engineering communities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of technical recruiting experience with significant experience supporting engineering organizations at high-growth startups.
- Demonstrated success hiring senior software engineers and engineering leaders.
- Strong understanding of technical organizations and engineering talent markets.
- Experience partnering directly with senior engineering stakeholders and executives.
- Exceptional sourcing, interviewing, and closing capabilities.
- Data-driven approach to recruiting strategy and process improvement.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
Nice to haves
- Experience recruiting within crypto, blockchain, infrastructure, AI, or fintech.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring recruiting teams.
- Familiarity with engineering compensation, equity, and competitive talent markets.
