Talent Operations Associate
Job description
About the company
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We are the global leader in tokenized treasuries, tokenized stocks and ETFs, and are building the future of institutional-grade financial services onchain.
Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
About the role
Ondo Finance is looking for a Talent Operations Associate to build and own the operational foundation of our growing People function. This is an associate-level role — not a pure coordinator — designed for someone who can execute interview coordination reliably while also taking on meaningful project work across recruiting operations, people operations, HR administration, and analytics. You'll be joining at an early stage, with a blank slate to design systems and processes that will scale with the team. If you're systems-oriented, detail-driven, and eager to grow beyond task execution into end-to-end ownership of people programs, this role is for you.
Target outcomes
- A fully designed and documented interview coordination system — including intake process, tooling, SLAs, and recruiter workflows — is live and running smoothly within the first 60 days
- Recruiters who have never worked with a coordinator are effectively onboarded to the new coordination model and operating with materially less scheduling overhead
- ATS data is consistently accurate, complete, and audit-ready, with hygiene standards and reporting workflows in place so recruiting analytics have the inputs needed to support decision-making
- Compensation cycles, performance management process, and year-end benefits open enrollment are supported operationally with minimal dropped details
- The role has evolved meaningfully beyond coordination, with the person owning at least one people operations or HR project end-to-end by the six-month mark
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end interview scheduling across all stages — hiring manager screens, technical screens, and on-site loops — using Greenhouse and any additional scheduling tooling you recommend and implement
- Design and document the coordination operating model: how requests come in, turnaround SLAs, calendar management standards, and how recruiters should work with you
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and interviewers throughout the scheduling process, managing rescheduling, cancellations, and time zone complexity across a global team
- Support offer letter generation, onboarding documentation, and candidate-to-new-joiner transitions in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers
- Contribute to people operations projects including compensation cycles, comp banding, performance management, engagement surveys, benefits open enrollment, and HR administration
- Maintain data integrity across the ATS and HRIS, running audits and reports to identify and close gaps
- Partner with Human Resources deparment as the function matures, taking on additional HR responsibilities as priorities are defined
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in talent operations, HR operations, recruiting coordination, or a closely related role
- Hands-on experience with an ATS (Greenhouse experience a plus) and comfort learning new tools quickly
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume scheduling across multiple time zones with a high degree of accuracy and responsiveness
- Strong systems thinking — you don't just execute tasks, you look for ways to build repeatable, scalable processes
- Experience supporting HR or people operations programs beyond scheduling (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, benefits, engagement surveys, comp cycles)
- Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working in ambiguous, early-stage environments where the playbook doesn't yet exist
- Clear, professional written communication with candidates, interviewers, and internal stakeholders
- Based in the EST to PST timezones
Nice to haves
- Experience with Modern Loop or a comparable interview scheduling tool
- Familiarity with Rippling, Culture Amp, or similar HRIS and engagement survey platforms
- Exposure to compensation banding, performance management cycles, or benefits administration
- Experience building or rebuilding new joiner onboarding programs
- HR certification in progress or completed (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Prior experience in a high-growth or crypto/fintech environment
What we offer
- Competitive compensation including but not limited to salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — We are well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
- Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
- Remote-first team across many countries — You will be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
- A+ colleagues — Our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Coinbase, Circle, Uniswap.
- Best-in-class investors — We are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.
