Job description
Job Summary Manage and coordinate daily operations of accommodation facilities to deliver high-quality guest services. Lead teams across front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and related departments to maintain standards and operational efficiency. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Oversee daily operations of lodging facilities, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services to ensure a positive guest experience. Recruit, train, schedule and supervise staff, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to service standards and policies. Manage budgets, control costs, prepare financial reports and implement measures to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Coordinate maintenance, safety and cleanliness programs to ensure facilities meet regulatory and quality standards. Monitor reservations, room inventory and pricing strategies using property management and reservation systems. Handle guest complaints and service recovery, and implement initiatives to improve guest satisfaction and operational processes. Requirements Post-secondary diploma or certificate in hospitality management, hotel operations, business administration or equivalent practical experience. Experience supervising staff in accommodation, lodging or related service operations, with demonstrated leadership abilities. Knowledge of budgeting, financial reporting and cost-control practices relevant to facility operations. Proficiency with property management systems, reservation software and standard office applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to communicate in French is an asset. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and ability to perform on-site operational duties when required.
