Job description
Job Summary Provide supervision and coordination of construction trade activities, installers, repairers and service crews to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification. Oversee quality control, safety compliance and on-site communication among trades and stakeholders. Number of Positions 1 Main Duties Plan, schedule and assign work to tradespeople, installers and service crews according to project timelines and priorities. Supervise on-site operations to ensure work meets plans, specifications and quality standards. Monitor and enforce occupational health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Inspect completed work, identify defects or deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions with trades and subcontractors. Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage and resource allocation to optimize workflow and minimize delays. Provide on-the-job training, mentorship and performance feedback to crew members and maintain work records. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent; trade certificate, apprenticeship or equivalent experience in a relevant construction trade preferred. Minimum three years of experience in construction trades with demonstrated supervisory or lead-hands experience. Working knowledge of building codes, construction methods, materials and industry standards. Familiarity with occupational health and safety legislation and best practices, including hazard assessment and incident response. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications and to use basic measurement tools. Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple trades and stakeholders on site.
