Job description
Department: Planning, Forecasting, Rates & Corp. Performance
Role Snapshot
- Provides administrative and secretarial support to the Vice President, Planning and other departmental staff with a high level of accuracy.
- Provides backup support for other departmental staff assistants.
- Provides administrative and secretarial functions for assigned associates.
- Assists with the preparation of the department annual budget. Monitors budget and processes invoices for payment. Compiles data and develops preliminary budget.
- Provides administrative guidan ce to associates concerning the Administrative Style Manual and procedures and assures compliance with corporate standards.
- Assists the VP in tracking action items assigned by the CEO, CFO or those self-imposed to ensure proper closure.
- Implements special projects as directed.
Education and Experience
Education: Associate Business Degree, Secretarial Degree or Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) rating
Experience: Six years secretarial and administrative experience and a general knowledge of management.
Equivalent Experience: High School with ten years secretarial and administrative experience.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Word Processing Skills and Computer Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong people and customer service skills.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) rating is desired.
