Job description
You will join Credit Agricole CIB Americas as an International Desk North America Assistant.
International Desks ensures a bespoke assistance at the international to the Crédit Agricole Group’s middle market customers (Regional Banks, LCL, foreign subsidiaries, BPI-Banque de Proximité à l’International, etc.).
Your concrete missi ons will be the following
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the International Desk’s offering and network.
- Support the International Desk as a central point of contact for the Crédit Agricole Group and their midcap clients approaching the North American market.
- Respond to requests largely coming from the Regional Banks of Crédit Agricole, LCL, Le Village by CA and Crédit Agricole Italia.
- Learn the fundamentals of commercial banking in the US, Canada and France, specifically as it pertains to services to midcaps expanding abroad.
- Prepare briefing memos for client meetings and call reports .
- Contribute to the account opening and credit request processes with respect to corporate referrals.
- Coordinate with US and Canadian banks regarding inbound and outbound corporate referrals .
- Liaise with international and domestic counterparts to ensure the deal flow is advancing in a timely manner.
- Cultivate the US, Canadian and European networks to support client international expansion by working with various business development and corporate services partners, government entities, chambers of commerce, legal and fiscal experts as well as other service providers.
- Coordinate with various Crédit Agricole CIB departments in the US and Canada as necessary, i.e. credit requests, LC issuances.
- Research information on US and Canadian companies , industries and markets.
- Aid in reporting requirements and liaise with CA Group International Business Solutions team in Paris.
- Prepare presentations for the Crédit Agricole Group network and their clients and work on special research projects.
- Assist in organizing and hosting Crédit Agricole Group visits in the US and Canada (bankers and/or their clients).
To be eligible for a VIE
- Be less than 29 years old
- Be postgraduate of a Master degree
- Be EU citizen
