Exciting Opportunity: Regional Property Manager
Location Preference: Detroit, MI
CORY is hiring a Regional Property Manager who is passionate about driving operational excellence, building scalable processes, and leading a growing multifamily portfolio. This individual will oversee a team of Property Managers, report directly to ownership, and play a critical role in shaping the company's next phase of growth.
About Our Client
A privately owned, family-run multifamily real estate operator with a growing portfolio of nearly 1,000 market-rate units. Ownership is hands-on and actively expanding the portfolio.
Your Responsibilities as a Leader
• Oversee and support a team of 6 Property Managers across ~1000 units.
• Own operational and financial performance across the portfolio, reporting directly to ownership.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing day-to-day operations without close oversight.
• Lead, coach, and develop on-site teams; identify and resolve performance and staffing issues.
• Support the rollout of EOS and help formalize operational processes across the management team.
• Help evaluate and potentially grow a third-party / fee management vertical as the company continues to scale.
The Skills & Experience You Possess
• Proven multifamily property management experience, including multi-site or regional oversight.
• Strong operational and financial acumen, with experience owning P&L.
• Experience in the Metro Detroit rental market strongly preferred.
• Property management software experience; AppFolio preferred
• Self-starter mentality; comfortable operating independently with minimal day-to-day oversight.
• Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) a strong plus.
