Job Description

The Global Structured Finance Client Manager plays a central role in the execution, onboarding, closing coordination, and post‑closing readiness of GSF transactions. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate execution, operational excellence, and a high‑quality client experience across all assigned client relationships and associated transactions.

The Client Manager serves as the closing and post‑close business liaison, partnering closely with all internal service partners to resolve escalated issues, coordinate amendments and terminations, establish billing and monitoring receivables, and ensure seamless transition from deal execution to ongoing administration. Success in this role is demonstrated through timely and accurate execution, strong cross‑functional coordination, effective issue resolution, and delivering consistent, positive, client outcomes.

Essential Functions

  • Resolve escalated inquiries and complex servicing situations for assigned clients by coordinating with internal service teams to deliver timely and effective solutions.
  • Complete system onboarding for new GSF transactions ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established SLAs.
  • Direct and coordinate closing day activities, including flow of funds, issuance of securities, satisfaction of closing conditions, and documentation of closing requirements.
  • Engage with all functional partners to facilitate effective and complete post close knowledge share, ensuring service partner readiness and alignment for ongoing transaction administration.
  • Serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of deliverables over the life of each transaction.
  • Identify, escalate and seek resolution on any discovered service gaps to prevent downstream operational impact or client awareness.
  • Engage proactively with all assigned clients to support ongoing satisfaction and relationship preservation.
  • Establish billing and monitoring receivables, including follow‑up with clients and internal partners to resolve outstanding balances.
  • Coordinate transaction amendments and terminations, implementing required system updates, notices, and service changes accurately and on time.

Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Typically five to seven years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Experience in corporate trust, structured finance, capital markets, and/or with complex financial instruments.
  • Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle management, operational risk considerations, and servicing requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive deliverables while coordinating across diverse internal teams.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to execution discipline, documentation accuracy, and risk awareness.
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills with a client‑focused approach to issue resolution.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,600.00 - 136,400.00
