What We Offer

Position Summary

The Executive Suite Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the daily operations of Novant Health's corporate office locations in Charlotte and Winston-Salem. Responsibilities include assisting with guest reception, meeting and event preparation, office supply and inventory management, delivery coordination, administrative support, and special projects. This internship offers exposure to corporate administration, executive support, facilities coordination, and cross-functional collaboration within a large healthcare organization, providing valuable professional development and operational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support front desk and reception operations, including coordinating guest arrivals and communicating logistics with executive assistants and other team members.
  • Monitor, organize, and restock office supplies, break rooms, and shared workspaces to maintain a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with receiving, sorting, distributing, and tracking deliveries, mail, and packages.
  • Communicate office updates, concerns, and operational needs to appropriate team members and leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve office processes and enhance the employee and visitor experience.
  • Perform additional administrative, operational, and special project duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with employees, leaders, visitors, and vendors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when interacting with employees, leaders, and visitors.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Program Details

  • Internship term: Based on location, longer term needed in Charlotte
  • Work schedule: Part-time, with flexibility to accommodate academic schedules
  • Location: Charlotte Office (1701 E 3 rd St) or Winston Salem (2085 Frontis Plaza) •

Experience: Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096.
