Pharmacy Operations Coordinator
Presbyterian Medical Center - Charlotte, NC
Monday-Friday between 8AM-5PM
Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join our leadership team as a Pharmacy Operations Coordinator . This leadership position is designed to support key departmental initiatives and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on medication safety, compliance, operational excellence, and diversion prevention efforts across the department.

- Demonstrated leadership, project management, and collaboration skills
- Experience with medication safety, compliance, quality improvement, or pharmacy operations initiatives preferred
- Strong communication and change management abilities
What You'll Do
- Support and advance medication safety initiatives
- Lead and coordinate diversion prevention efforts
- Assist with implementation of Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) Committee changes
- Drive compliance and regulatory optimization initiatives
- Collaborate with pharmacy leadership on operational priorities
- Serve as an active member of the Pharmacy Leadership Team
- Support continuous quality improvement and process enhancement projects
- Oversees pharmacy operations and technician practice/activities
- Maintains proficiency in preceptor roles and actively emulates education/ mentorship skills
- All other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification.
- PharmD, preferred.
- Experience : Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required.
- For Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship roles: ASHP - accredited PGY2 Infectious Disease residency OR minimum of 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.
- Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.
- Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
