Job Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Management
- Supervise housekeeping staff and contract workers deployed across the plant.
- Ensure cleanliness of production areas, offices, warehouses, washrooms, canteen, common areas, and outdoor premises.
- Implement and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly housekeeping schedules.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Ensure timely availability and optimum utilization of cleaning materials and equipment.
- Coordinate waste management, scrap disposal, and pest control activities.
- For loss prevention /precious material governance through HK activities and defined procedures
Facility Management
- Monitor upkeep of buildings, roads, parking areas, landscaping, and utility areas.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external service providers.
- Maintain records of facility assets, service contracts, and AMC activities.
- Ensure compliance with workplace hygiene, environmental, and safety standards.
- Support plant events, meetings, audits, and VIP visits through facility readiness.
Security Coordination
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure effective plant access control and surveillance.
- Monitor visitor management, employee entry/exit procedures, and contractor movements.
- Support implementation of security policies and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate and report security incidents, safety concerns, or suspicious activities.
- Ensure compliance with company security guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Ensure shift coverage second and night if required by SO.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Support EHS initiatives and maintain housekeeping practices aligned with safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and compliance inspections.
- Promote 5S practices and workplace organization initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to ISO, statutory, and company regulatory requirements.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage housekeeping and security service providers.
- Verify attendance, deployment, performance, and billing of contract manpower.
- Conduct vendor performance reviews and ensure SLA compliance.
- Coordinate procurement of housekeeping consumables and facility requirements.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Diploma in any discipline (preferred).
- Certification in Facility Management, Safety, or Administration is an advantage.
- Ex-service man from defense / paramilitary/ police services an advantage
Reporting To: Senior manager / Manager – Administration
Employment Type: Full-time, Plant-based Role (Hosur jew).

- Knowledge of EHS and 5S practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
Experience
- 3–8 years of experience in housekeeping, facility management, security coordination, or plant administration.
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial plant environment preferred.
