Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Finance Consultant to support our banking client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle GL (Cloud) and Oracle Accounting Hub, along with working knowledge of SQL. This role requires collaboration with business users, finance teams, and technical stakeholders to implement and deliver financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support implementation of Oracle General Ledger (Cloud) and Oracle Accounting Hub
- Work closely with banking customers to understand financial processes and requirements
- Design and configure accounting rules, subledger mappings, and financial reporting structures
- Drive solution design and participate in end-to-end implementation lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, deploy)
- Support data integration and reconciliation between source systems and Oracle Cloud
- Collaborate with technical teams for system integrations and data migration
- Prepare functional design documents (FDDs) and solution documentation
- Write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements relevant to the banking domain
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of overall experience in Oracle Financials
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Oracle General Ledger (GL) – Cloud
- Oracle Accounting Hub (AHCS)
- Mandatory experience in implementation projects (end-to-end lifecycle)
- Candidates with only support project experience will not be considered
- Understanding of banking financial processes (GL accounting, reconciliation, reporting)
- SQL knowledge (Basic to Intermediate):
- Ability to query data, validate transactions, and support reconciliation activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with banking or financial services clients
- Exposure to additional Oracle Cloud Financials modules (nice to have)
- Experience in data migration, reconciliation, or integration workstreams
Work Location & Model
- Location: Bangalore
- Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week from office (mandatory)
