The salary range for this position is $21-24 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.
We are seeking a Fabricator/Assembler to join our manufacturing team on the afternoon shift. The successful candidate will be involved in the fabrication and assembly of products using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success
- Use various tools and equipment to assemble retail signage
- Apply vinyl graphics and paint to multiple substrates
- Fabricate and assemble products according to specifications and drawings
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and manufacturing equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings (asset)
- Troubleshoot production and assembly issues as they arise
- Work independently on assigned tasks and collaborate on larger projects
- Maintain quality standards and follow safe work practices
- Support production requirements, including overtime when required
- Assist with material preparation, measuring, cutting, and final assembly processes
- Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards
Qualifications
When your expertise drives us
- 3–5 years of experience in a plastics, signage, or manufacturing environment
- Experience working with plastics and/or woodworking machinery, hand tools, machine tools, pneumatic nail guns, and measuring equipment
- Experience fabricating acrylics and other plastic materials
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
- Knowledge of signage manufacturing methods, materials, hardware, laminates, and veneers
- Experience with CNC routers, panel saws, forklift operation, or signage/cabinet installation is considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible to work overtime as required
