Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Poland. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, influencing people decisions, and supporting business performance through effective human resources practices.
As our HR Business Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees across Heli-One and CHC's Polish operations, delivering practical HR solutions, ensuring compliance with Polish employment legislation, and supporting the successful implementation of global HR programmes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
What you will be doing
As our HR Business Partner, you will
- Partner with leaders to provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and policy interpretation.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, employee development, and offboarding.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to local management, helping to address complex people matters and support business objectives.
- Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, absence management, investigations, and terminations, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- Maintain positive relationships with employee representatives and support compliance with labour regulations and collective arrangements where applicable.
- Partner with Global HR, Employee Relations, and Centres of Excellence to ensure alignment with corporate policies, practices, and standards.
- Implement and support global HR programmes, including performance management, talent reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and reward processes.
- Ensure compliance with Polish labour law, employment regulations, data privacy requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Maintain accurate employee data and documentation within HR systems and support reporting and audit requirements.
- Support payroll administration and collaborate with HR Shared Services and external providers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and workforce trends to support business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, employee experience, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
We are looking for someone who has
- Proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist, HR Business Partner, or similar HR advisory role within a fast-paced organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Polish labour law and employment practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience advising leaders on employee relations, performance management, and workforce-related matters.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Experience working with HR systems, ideally Workday or similar platforms.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in both Polish and English, written and spoken.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within an international, industrial, aviation, engineering, or technical environment would be advantageous.
