About this Position

Responsible for overseeing financial closing, reporting, and general accounting processes while ensuring full compliance with accounting standards, strong internal controls, and effective audit coordination. Acts as a strategic business partner by providing financial and accounting guidance and decision-making support, driving process improvements, and managing tax activities.

What you´ll do

  • Manage the financial closing and reporting processes.
  • Steer effective alignments with external auditors to ensure efficient audit procedures. • Ensures compliance with external laws and regulations and external and internal guidelines, ensures execution of Accounting related internal controls. • Acts as a partner in the business decision making process by assessing impacts on financial statements.
  • Provides accounting advice within area of expertise. • Support projects impacting general accounting (e.g. system & financial integration). • Acts as local tax advisor & contributes to minimize tax expenses. Ensures tax compliance & efficient cooperation with tax authorities. Implements tax processes & procedures. • Manages cash forecasting, banking relationships, funding and investment decisions, and financial risks. Actively reviews and proposes changes to existing Accounting processes.
