What You'll Be Doing
As our Receptionist, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office while providing valuable administrative support across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting visitors and maintaining a professional, welcoming reception experience.
- Answering, screening and directing incoming calls efficiently and professionally.
- Managing visitor sign-in processes and ensuring site access requirements are followed.
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail, deliveries and correspondence.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and presentable reception and front office area.
- Ordering and monitoring stationery, cleaning supplies and tearoom consumables.
- Coordinating staff functions, celebrations, barbecues and special events.
- Managing uniform and safety boot orders and liaising with suppliers.
- Maintaining daily timesheets for salaried employees.
- Providing administrative support to the Finance team, including data entry and invoice checking.
- Ordering promotional merchandise and assisting with general office administration.
- Responding to employee enquiries and directing requests to the appropriate department.

- Previous experience in a reception, customer service or administration role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A professional and welcoming approach when dealing with visitors and staff.
- High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed.
- The flexibility to adapt quickly in a busy and changing environment.
